Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life. John 8:12

Homemaking

A Virtuous Woman
This is the blog of Melissa Ringstaff.  She has a lot of useful information for homemakers.  I first found her site when I was learning how to "keep house."

The Flanders Family
This is a Christian family with a lot of children.  This site can be so helpful for women struggling with one or two children or even 20!

Homeschooling

Robinson Curriculum
This is a full 12 year curriculum, designed to be printed from cd's.  The entire set is less than $200.  The curriculum does not provide math.  Robinson recommends using Saxon Math - the original, not the homeschool version.

Mott Media
McGuffey Readers, Ray's Arithmetic, Sower's Series books, Harvey's Grammar, and so much more.  I am not a fan of Spencerian penmanship.  I think it is too difficult.  But, if you have a student that loves penmanship, by all means, this is the one!  (I'm using the first Ray's Arithmetic book to get my students ready for Saxon 5/4, which I purchased from AbeBooks.

I generally don't buy from Mott Media.  I use their site to view the products, then I go to Amazon, eBay, or AbeBooks to see if I can find them used.

Practical Arithmetics
This is a set of three books that provide all the essential arithmetic.  It is said that a student completing this series should be ready for algebra.

Keepers of the Faith
This site has a lot of "old" curriculum.  This is where I first learned of Ray's Arithmetic and McGuffey Readers.

Seeds Family Worship
Scripture Memory songs for the whole family.  I haven't purchased these yet, but I plan to as soon as we get out of the moving budget pinch.

A+ Math

An Old Fashioned Education
