Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand.  Zechariah 4:10a

Welcome

Welcome to our Micro-Homestead.  We rent this beautiful home on nearly 1.5 acres in beautiful Northwest Arkansas.

We moved here in January 2014 and have started about 23 Buff Orpington chicks.  Most of these chicks are pullets, but there should be a few cockerels.  By end of March, all our chicks are sold, and we are looking at purchasing more, possibly of a different breed.

We have big plans for this little homestead.  Goats.  A garden.  And somehow combining it all to form an income producing micro-homestead.

We serve a might God who created this beautiful little treasure for us to begin homesteading.  He is so good to provide all our needs according to His riches!  What an amazing God we serve!

About Us

I'm Leah, I am from Texas, my husband, Ronnie, is from Louisiana. We met in college at East Texas Baptist University. Got married. Had six children. And went crazy! Mwahahahaha!

All joking aside (sort of) we've traveled around quite a bit, but I think we have found where God would have us plant and grow roots that will last for generations to come.

We are excited to start this new chapter as farmers and gardeners while we tend our own garden of children. I am a homeschooling mom, chicken farmer, and gardener.  My husband ministers to teenage boys at Teen Challenge of Northwest Arkansas.

Thanks for dropping by to visit our website and to see what new things we are up to. We're always happy to make new friends, so drop us a line on the "Contact " page!
